Third Week of Advent. Colaboración del Hno. Eladio González.

The third week of Advent tells us of joy about what is to come. (Jesus)

Joy is defined as a good feeling, (an experience). Joy is a state of mind, a combination of emotions.
Spiritually joy is in our hearts. Joy includes contentment, confidence and hope.
Joy makes us to see the beauty of God and the beauty of the world.
Joy is something that lasts and it is intense. Happiness is more temporal.

How to bring joy to our souls?

1) Choose to smile.
2) Choose to have a good attitude.
3) Increase your critical thinking meditating and imagining good things.
4) Be aware of all that you receive and thank you your benefactors.
5) Enjoy the simple things. Look for the good side of life or any situation.
6) Be active and work for a cause that brings a better world.

7) The main provider of JOY is the Holy Spirit. (Remember your confirmation.)
"The fruit of the Holy Spirit is love, JOY, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness and self control" (Galatians 5:22-23)
